Alerts & notifications
What Polyrank can alert you about — trades and board changes of traders you follow, event moves and resolutions, paper runs — the levels, timing, channels including Telegram, and the per-plan allowance.
What this is for. Alerts tell you when something you follow happens, without keeping a tab open: a followed trader makes a big trade, an event you follow resolves or its price moves, a paper run copies or settles. They arrive in the app's bell and, if you switch them on, by email, browser push and Telegram.
What you can be alerted about
| For | Kinds |
|---|---|
| Traders you follow (Follow) | Trades, Board changes |
| Events you follow | Resolved (never counts against the allowance), New question, Price moves, Notable wallets |
| Lab paper runs | Nothing, Daily summary (default) or Every copy and result, per run (Paper trading) |
Set them up
Follow a trader or an event. In the follow menu choose Notify me of big fills or Following, no alerts.
Open Alert settings (polyrank.app/alerts/settings, also Change alert settings on the account page). Pick a level for new follows: Quiet, Balanced (default) or Everything — for trades $10k / $1k / $100, for price moves 20 / 10 / 5 points in an hour. Paid plans can type their own amounts (traders $100–$1M; events $1k–$1M and 3–50 points).
Choose When alerts arrive — Right away, Hourly summary or Daily summary, optionally Weekdays only — and your timezone.
Choose Where: In-app notifications, Email alerts, Browser push and Telegram (Connect Telegram, then Send test; Disconnect removes it).
Your notifications are listed at polyrank.app/alerts (Notifications, Mark all read).
The allowance
Alerts a day and a month are per plan, and Free uses the fixed levels only — see the
plan table. The settings page shows Your alert allowance as a meter. By API,
creating alert rules (POST /v1/alerts) is part of the paid plans.
